What did you do this past week?

This past week, I was catching up with class work and preparing for interviews. I think I have been doing a good job of keeping up with interview preparations. But some days, I just feel so demotivated. I sort of just do not see the point of any of this. I need to look deeper and find what I really want in life. I also started this show called Umbrella Academy. So far, it has been pretty weird, but that is what makes it interesting. The several characters in the show are all distinct from one another and it is intriguing to see how they interact with each other. It seems that there is always one mystery after another.

What’s in your way?

The only thing in my way is myself and my lack of motivation. I suppose being in the comfort of my own home is not helping much either. I get so lethargic and I cannot focus as well as I could, say, at the library at UT. I liked roaming around campus studying in random places.

What will you do next week?

Next week, I will be doing more interview preparations. I have been going through a React course, as well as learning system design. The task of learning system design has been complicated, but it is necessary.

If you read it, what did you think of Why Is Silicon Valley So Awful to Women?

I have not read it yet.

What was your experience of arrays, equal(), and iterators?

I am familiar with these concepts in Java, but not so much in C++.

What made you happy this week?

I played tennis again this week, so that was nice. It was nice to just forget about my problems and just play some games of tennis. I also got to play a lot of video games this week. I played a lot of Apex this week, and even got a couple of wins. The problem is that I get bored of games too quickly, thus, I might need to find a new game soon to occupy my mind.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

I should probably start exercising. I have not done so. I think exercise could be a very important tool for stress relief. Unfortunately, I do not do it as often as I should.
